Bijoux Four Paws was established by Coco Palenque in 2002. An accomplished designer and devoted dog lover, Coco creates each designer dog collar and ID tag in the collection and oversees hand finishing & delivery of each piece.

A Diverse Background In Fashion and Style . . .

As the daughter of a diplomat, Coco grew up abroad and lived surrounded by a diversity of styles and cultures. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to study architecture but was drawn to the fashion-sense of the movie business and pursued a career as a wardrobe stylist for film and television. While on location filming in the Caribbean she decided to make a move to Miami where she continued her work in film and television. Coco’s love of design prompted her to take silversmithing and jewelry classes. There, she discovered her first passion and began designing one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry. She developed a loyal, private clientele drawn to her simple, classic and elegant style.

Caramelo, The Inspiration For Bijoux Four Paws . . .

Some years later, Coco received Lil’ Bits of Caramelo, a pure-bred fawn spotted Chihuahua, as a birthday gift from her husband. This new canine companion became her second passion. When she couldn’t find a dog collar and ID tag small enough or stylish enough, Coco decided to design a piece for him in sterling silver. People would stop Coco and Caramelo on the street to ask where his collar and pet ID tag had come from and so, Bijoux Four Paws was born!

Celebrity Canines Wearing Bijoux Four Paws Designs . . .

Today, Coco’s designer jewelry for dogs and sterling silver pet ID tags are worn proudly by discerning canines of all shapes and sizes including celebrities. Ricky Estefan (Gloria’s Dalmatian) proudly sports his silver bone. Both Lola De La Hoya (Oscar’s Chi) and Miranda Rubio (Paulina’s Pomeranian) wear the heart necklace and Neal Tyler (his mom is Liv) wears his ID bone tag. Jazzy and Juicy Adams were so excited to get their necklaces that their mom Cindy wrote about it in her column!
